Change-abration

Change-abration = change+celebration

Good morning, all! We survived the election season, and the result is a monumentally historic one, no doubt. I hope all of the exuberance and energy that lead up to last evening will be translated into true change rather than subside and just be remembered as political marketing and rhetoric--"change we can believe in", "the change we need". All of the changes being discussed will require everyone to take part in their community in some way; to sacrifice their daily routines for something new, different and likely difficult; and to work tirelessly for the betterment of the country not of themselves. So, as we continue to see a stressed economy, please recall the changes that were discussed (on both sides) as well as to celebrate the change that is so clearly needed by and for everyone in this country.

I truely believe that our Constitution is NOT fundamentally flawed and that it is in fact an incredible document that was written over 200 years ago by men who had no idea of how our country would evolve over time. We live in a time with tremendous potential and have witnessed many historical events--we need to be the agents of change and continue or renew the understanding of the history of our country...and appreciate the document that we have inherited.
